Originating in China, this story gave rise to the Tanabata summer star festival still avidly celebrated in Japan.

The Shikiori Japanese Fairy Tale series is a follow-up to the extremely popular Four Seasons series. Each special edition pen features a special glimmer effect in the cap and barrel, also familiar from other special edition pens such as the Purple Cosmos and Red Supernova.
