It tells the fantastical story of a young woman originally found as an infant inside a stalk of bamboo and who must ultimately leave her Earthly family and many suitors to return to her place of origin on the Moon.

The Shikiori Japanese Fairy Tale series is a follow-up to the extremely popular Four Seasons series. Each special edition pen features a special glimmer effect in the cap and body, also familiar from other special edition pens such as the Purple Cosmos and Red Supernova.
