Montegrappa Kahlil Gibran Limited Edition
Both an homage to the legacy of legendary writer Kahlil Gibran, as well as a commemoration of the animated feature "The Prophet" based on his story and produced by actress Salma Hayek, the Montegrappa Kahlil Gibran Limited Edition is being made available in 1883 numbered pieces each in fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint versions. 1883 was the year of Gibran's birth, and Montegrappa has commissioned Lebanese artist Katja Traboulsy to contribute to the design of these memorable writing instruments.
The dark blues, blacks, and greys in the resin body are inspired by the color palette of Gibran's own paintings, and the fountain pen nib is inscribed with a visage believed to be Gibran's own self-portrait. The pocket clip on all pen versions features a sapphire set into an open palm, while the base of the cap features a reproduction of Gibran's signature. The cap crown features a K overlaid on a G, the personal logo devised by Gibran for many of his paintings.
All of the pens in the Kahlil Gibran Limited Edition series are available from us as special order items - pens already in stock with Montegrappa's U.S. distributor should be ready to ship within two weeks or less.
