Visconti Homo Sapiens Skylight
The latest in Visconti's iconic flagship line, the Homo Sapiens Skylight features a cap and barrel made from solid volcanic rock, two clear resin demonstrator windows, and trim made from solid bronze. Each pen is equipped with your choice of 23k palladium or 18k solid gold nib, depending on availability.
Our complimentary nib tuning ensures that your Visconti Homo Sapiens will have writing qualities equal to its unique appearance and engineering. Visconti nibs also make excellent starting points for our exclusive nib customizations, which can add to the character and distinctiveness of your writing on the page.
The two demonstrator windows in this model appropriately enough serve a dual purpose - they both allow the user to monitor ink levels on an ongoing basis, as well as providing a view of Visconti's renowned Double Reservoir Power Fill system, which allows for the use of any bottled fountain pen ink. Each pen is hand assembled at the Visconti workshop in Florence.
