The 18k solid gold nibs are specially manufactured for Taccia by Sailor, renowned for the high quality and superb writing characteristics of their solid gold nibs.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts pressure and ink flow to your personal preferences, and our optional nib customizations can add to the character of your writing on the page. We are an authorized Taccia dealer.

The hand-finishing in time-intensive urushi and Maki-e techniques requires weeks or months to be accomplished, while the sleek lines of the pen itself speak to a decidedly modern sensibility. Each pen includes a special additional end piece which allows for posting without running the risk of scratching the finish on the barrel.
The pen utilizes a convenient cartridge-converter system, allowing for the use of any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter. A stylish presentation box adds to the pen's value and collectibility.
