Auroloide, Aurora's propriety cellulose acetate derivative, is used to create the marbled cap and barrel of this highly noteworthy pen - no two pens will have exactly the same appearance. The nib is hand-crafted from 18k solid gold at Aurora's factory in Torino - Aurora is unique among European manufacturers in manufacturing their own solid gold nibs.
The pen fills using Aurora's reliable piston-fill system, which allows the use of any bottled fountain pen ink. The attractive presentation box adds to the pen's value and collectibility and adds to its suitability as a very special gift item.
