The Nakaya Decapod Writer Aka-tamenuri TW is one of the most distinctive design and finish combinations offered by Nakaya. This is a pen like nothing else available today.
Each pen is handcrafted in meticulously exact fashion making it a pleasure to hold. Nakaya’s multi-thread barrel allows this pen to be quickly capped and uncapped, but not every thread will properly align the facets in the closed position - it may take more than one try to find a thread that will properly set the alignment.
Decorative rice paper, a simple solid softwood shipping box decorated with Japanese Kanji script, and a fabric pen "kimono" are all included with this pen, making it a lovely presentation item. Sensible and elegant packaging has long been a hallmark of the Nakaya brand.
