Utilizing multiple urushi finishes in a time intensive process normally reserved for only the most high-end lacquerware, Tamesansai-nuri finish has an extraordinary depth and detail that has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated - it is difficult for any photo to fully capture the subtle beauty of these exceptional writing instruments.
