Providing for a similar writing experience as Sailor’s now hard to find Naginata-togi nibs and our own Architects Point customization, Aurora’s new Goccia (“drop") 14k nibs add an additional ball of iridium to the nib tip which is then given the unmistakable Naginata-togi/Architects Point modification. The result is a nib that provides for narrow downstrokes and broad cross-strokes, a modification that can add distinctiveness to many writing styles and is also particularly appropriate for Arabic and Hebrew calligraphy.

Available as a special order item in Extra Fine, Fine, and Medium sizes and in all the standard Aurora plating colors, the Goccia adds $120 to the cost of any Aurora pen (not available for the smaller size Ipsilon and Finesse models or for some non-standard size limited editions). Alternatively, customers wishing a very similar writing experience can choose a stock nib on an Aurora or any other pen (for best results, broader sizes are recommended) and then select our Architects Point customization.
