Sailor Pro Gear Classic Realo Maroon Gold
The Pro Gear, as it is affectionately known, is Sailor's flat-top, full-sized fountain pen. Sailor's Realo series of piston-filling fountain pens has become one of their most popular offerings, and the Pro Gear Realo in Burgundy with gold trim offers a particularly warm and pleasing variation on this style.
Two narrow bands, one above the engraved cap band and another at the top of the section, give this pen a style all its own.
The filling system is Sailor's highly reliable piston-filling mechanism, which allows this pen to be filled using any bottled fountain pen ink. Note the transparent ink window near the gripping section which gives advance notice of when it will be time to refill.
21k nibs are well-suited to customizations including Stub, Cursive Italic, or Left Oblique.
