Crafted from hallmarked sterling silver containing 92.5% pure silver, the Cross Century II Sterling Silver fountain pen combines a classic Cross design with luxurious precious metals. This sleek, streamlined writing instrument is the perfect choice for those who tend to gravitate towards silver in their jewelry or watches. The Century II has a production history dating back to the 1940s, and this version in bright sterling silver leaves a memorable impression. This is a slightly bolder, wider version than the original Classic Century model, yet still remains a lightweight mid-sized pen that veers towards the smaller side. This is an easily transportable writer for those who want to be able to take their fountain pen on the go.

The Cross Century II Sterling Silver fountain pen can use convenient Cross brand ink cartridges, or can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink using the included converter. Its subtle incised line pattern, which continues even onto the gripping section, provides texture. Sterling silver trim completes the modern, monochromatic look.


The silver Cross clip allows this pen to be easily affixed to a shirt pocket, and also serves as a built-in roll stopper. A "click" can be heard when putting the cap on. This makes an almost airtight seal between the cap and barrel, which helps prevents early dry-out of the nib. The Century II Sterling Silver features Cross' trademark conical top in contrasting black lacquer.


These 18k nibs are good candidates for customizations such as Cursive Italic or Left Oblique, with the some tipping sizes also appropriate for our special Architect's Point customization.
