Special instructions. See below (B. D. G.)
A.
Please empty and flush all your pens before sending.
B.
Instructions (we've been getting many packages with no identification
or instructions {please don't depend on our memory} A note or a print
out of e-mail correspondence is fine) Please be brief, but specific.
C.
Are your pens adequately wrapped and protected for shipping?
D.
Please indicate clearly if you wish your work to be done as a RUSH with
the rush fee.
E.
Please make sure your return address(es) are correct and complete. If
you send us an incorrect zip code, or neglect to include an applicable Suite
number, UPS, abiding by their new draconian policies, will charge us an
additional $5-10 for an "address correction." We will need to
pass this additional charge along to you, since we can no longer absorb
them every month. Also, if you give us one address and then request UPS
to "Re-Direct" the package to another address, they will charge
us an additional $5-10 which we will need to pass along as well.
F.
If your pen needs a bladder, please either instal it yourself,
before you send it or we will put one in for you here (charge $20). We need
the filling system to be in operating condition to properly test the way
the nib works.
G.
Please include a writing sample specifying your writing characteristics:
Light, medium or heavy pressure? On a scale of 1-10 where 1 is DRY and 10
is a RIVER, what number(s) best indicate your ink flow preference? Right
or left handed? {if left-handed,over-writer or under-writer? We have six
photos on our Left-Hander's Page, which one comes closes to your writing
style?}Also, let us know if you hold a pen in any unusual way (i.e., higher
or lower than the usual 45-60 degree angle, twisting one way or the other
more than "normal," etc.)
