Whether in gold or rhodium-plated trim, the Sapporo Black is a sleek, stylish pen, suitable to a board room or to personal use and to everything in-between. With their flat cap and barrel ends, the Sapporo series pens are slightly more compact than the 1911 International series pens also made by Sailor. They feel as large in the hand, however, because the barrel and cap widths of the Sapporo are the same as in the 1911.
