Sailor Pharaohs Limited Edition
In late 2006, Sailor has released the limited Sterling silver Pharaoh fountain pen. It combines gold trim, with the engraved silver surfaces. Only 200 of these pens are made worldwide.
Crafted in 925 (92.5%) sterling silver, with hieroglyphic inscriptions from the time of the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt. We find it appropriate that symbols of pharaohs and their stories should grace the sides of this fountain pen, since it was the ancient Egyptians who were the first to employ writing instruments using ink and paper (papyrus).
This pen is 5 3/4" long, capped (same length as the Sterling Silver 1911).

The engravings enhance the silver overlay, giving it a subtle texture barely noticeable to the fingertips. The reflective surface picks up light and color from the surrounding space.
Again, Sailor uses their traditional streamline fountain pen shape. Why change a good thing?

Fitted with Naginata Togi M nib created by nibmaster Nobuyoshi Nagahara, the Togi nib is custom crafted in a smooth sword configuration. However we could custom order any of the specialty nibs Click here to see the other nibs available and manufacturer's retail prices.

The pen is 5 3/4" long, capped, and weighs an impressive 48g. This is not a light fountain pen.

There are only 200 pieces available worldwide, only 6 have arrived in the United States. We have the following limited edition number 47 /200, 48/200, 49/200, and 61/200.

The hinged presentation box includes Sailor's Gentle ink, cartridges, polishing cloth, the Sailor guarantee papers and a brass plaque with the name and limited edition number engraved.

The retail price for this pen is $1200.00
