Sailor King Cobra
There were twenty-four of these made. This is the only one we have ever had and, we expect, the only one we will ever get. Otherwise it is sold out.
The Sailor King Cobra is the most elaborate Sailor pen made to date. The nib on this pen, known as a "cobra", set the theme for this design.

The three views above give a good idea of the Sailor King Cobra in the round. Notice the abalone discs on the back of the cap. They show with different colors and intensity depending on the angle they are seen from.

Sailor's logo is engraved in the cap band.

The simple light wood presentation box is lined with deep velvet and comes with an instruction manual and calligraphic certificate.

As seen below, this one is #21/25.

The microscope photographs below show the cobra nib from top and bottom. It delivers a generous 1.5 mm line width in all directions.

King Cobra Nib Bottom
The 21k cobra nib is hand made by nib master Nagahara at the Sailor factory. The hood projects on either side, one a little wider than the other. It holds additional ink for immediate delivery. It is slit vertically and horizontally, making contact between ink and paper immediate.
King Cobra Writing
Because it delivers excellent ink flow and has a broad contact area with the paper, the cobra nib is about as smooth and juicy as a nib can be.
This highly limited Edition pen lists for our price: $4500.00 - SOLD OUT
