| Named for the year in which the Sailor Pen Company was founded, the 1911 Series is simple and well made. The colors are quiet but rich, with gold detailing. The 21K single-tone nib is the larger of the two nibs that the company makes. It is available in EF, F, F/M, M, B, Music and Zoom points. Pat, I received the burgundy Sailor 1911 with Togi nib right on time and have been enjoying it ever since. It has a nice deep color and just the right size, weight, and balance when the cap is posted. The very smooth Togi nib lays down the broadish line I was hoping for, with excellent ink flow.
