1911 Mid-Size Fountain Pens |
The Sailor 1911 Mid-Size (also known in some markets as the 1911 Standard) is based on the 1911 Full-Size design, but a little smaller all the way around. It measures 5 1/4" capped and has a barrel diameter of .487". It weighs in at 19.6 grams, compared to the 23.7 grams of the full-size 1911. Sailor has kept the band arrangements, the black ends, and exactly the same clip. The great balance and excellent 14k nib units make these pens an extraordinary value at $156 (195.00 retail). The Black and the Burgundy 1911 Mid-Size pens in both gold and in rhodium trim are also available with 21k Naginata-Togi nibs in Medium-Fine, Medium, or Broad for $238. |
