| In the late Summer of 2006
Sailor introduced the Black Ebonite King of Pen with a silver
clip and silver-plated 21K nib. |

| The pen itself is exactly
the same as the traditional gold-adorned King of Pen, except
for the clip and nib plating. It's large (just over 6"
long capped) but well-balanced and even small hands find it
a pleasure to write with. |
||
|
The highly polished surface
looks like plastic but, if rubbed briskly with a knuckle, it
gives off a faint smell of rubber.
