Founded in 1889, Parker was one of the most successful pen manufacturers in both the United States and throughout the world. Innovative and highly popular designs included the Duofold, the Vacumatic, and the legendary Parker 51. While later designs such as the Parker 75 have allowed Parker to remain a viable company to this day, it is these earlier pens from the golden age of American fountain pens that remain most sought-after by pen aficionados.
