Platinum 3776 Century Model
Shoji Demo Limited Edition
Fountain Pen
The Century Shoji Limited Edition Demonstrator is the latest in Platinum's series inspired by lakes in the Mt. Fuji region. Last year's pen, the Motosu, quickly sold out. Available in just 3776 pieces worldwide, the Shoji utilizes Platinum's new Century nibs and "Slip and Seal" cap system.
In contrast to the clear Motosu, the Shoji is subtly tinted in light blue. Measuring 5 1/4" inches capped and weighing 18.3 grams, this is a durable and well-designed cartridge-converter pen.
Each pen is numbered on the cap band. The Shoji utilizes Platinum's “Slip and Seal" cap mechanism, designed to allow ink in the pen to remain fresh and ready to use for extended periods of time.
The Shoji comes attractively packaged in a white gift box. A chrome trim converter and one piece each of Platinum's new Black Carbon and Blue Pigment cartridge inks are also included.
The Shoji is made available with your choice of Platinum Century 14k rhodium-plated nib in Fine, Medium, or Broad.
These 14k Platinum nibs are well-suited to customizations including Stub, Cursive Italic, and Left Oblique, as well as the modification for added flex - the Fine nib makes a particularly good starting point for John's Spencerian approximation. See our nib customizations page for more information.
Available in just 3776 pieces worldwide, these attractively priced pens are likely to sell out quickly.
