Vanishing Point Orange |
This is the third in a series of Vanishing Points Limited Editions.
The first was bright yellow in color. It was followed by the Ice blue (both are
sold out). The yellow ones command a premium on the secondary market. We expect
this one to do so as well. This is the first, however that is numbered on the
barrel. There are only 2007 of these pens made world wide. We have only a few. |

Identical in size to the other Vanishing Point's this pen,
this bright orange color was popular in the 1950's. At the same time it employs
a precise system for nib extension, retraction and protection. When the nib is
retracted, a little door closes so that the ink will not evaporate. |
This new limited edition pen comes only
with an 18k rhodium plated Medium nib, seen on the left. Because they are so precisely
made, these medium nibs are good candidates for our cursive italic customization.
Or, we can provide an additional nib for those who prefer to keep the rhodium
plated nib as original, while customizing a second. The result is a medium/fine
cursive italic. John has created one for himself and thoroughly enjoys its line-width
variation and ink flow.

| All
of the Pilot Namiki line of fountain pens come with a converter for filling from
an ink bottle. This converter is interchangeable with cartridges available in
a number of ink colors. |
| This
Orange limited edition VP fountain pen comes in a custom made orange case of contemporary
Japans design. It is ribbed and stitched and closes with a magnetic clasp. |
| We have only a few of this limited edition pen.
