Pilot Vanishing Point Ice Blue

This is the second in a series of Vanishing Points Limited Editions. The first was bright yellow and sold out completely. The yellow ones command a premium on the secondary market. We expect this one to do so as well.

We see this pen as having a retro color. Identical in size to the other Vanishing Point's this pen inspires a sense of nostalgia for soda fountain bar stools, the mashed potato and the Ford T-Bird. At the same time it employs a precise system for nib retraction and protection. When the nib is retracted, a little door closes so that the ink will not evaporate.

This new limited edition pen comes only with an 18k rhodium plated Medium nib. Because they are so precisely made, these medium nibs are good candidates for our cursive italic customization. The result is a medium/fine cursive italic. John has created one for himself and thoroughly enjoys its line-width variation and ink flow.

All of the Pilot Namiki line of fountain pens come with a converter for filling from an ink bottle. This converter is interchangeable with cartridges available in a number of ink colors. (This is the best cartridge system on the market.)
This Ice Blue limited edition VP fountain pen comes in an attractive wood box the same color as the body of this pen.
These pens are now sold out at our distributor. We have a few. Our Price: $200.00

"Hello All,
I received my Namiki Ice Blue VP pen. It is a really cool blue. I love it and it writes like a dream. John has once again worked his magic on the nib. The presentation box is really very attractive; I was very impressed. Thanks again for your great personal service. I always look forward to getting my package from y'all because I know I won't ever be disappointed when I open it and begin writing.
Kind regards and Merry Christmas to all,
Lisa Griffin" (12/18/06)
