Produced in 1995 in an edition of 4500 pieces, this M800-size pen is a study in "granite" and subdued blue/gray, as befits the financial district of NYC. The plaque on the body of each barrel (see detail below) is 24 karat solid gold. The edition number is engraved on the ring above the clip on each cap. The pen has a gold-filled button on the top of the cap with the Pelikan logo laser-cut, in black. The blind cap also has a gold-filled button. |

There is a dark gray ink window which allows the
writer to tell how much ink is in the reservoir. The main part of
the barrel as well as the cap and blind cap are made of marbelized
and plain resins which contrast but go together extremely well in
muted tones of blue/gray. |
