February of 2006 we received our first shipment of the special edition Piccadilly
Circus fountain pen. We are jazzed about the color. | ||

| We have taken pictures of two pens
so that we can illustrate the differences. No two of these are identical. As seen
above, the range of randomly placed swirls, although consistent in feeling, is
enormous. | ||
| The M620 production includes the Cities Series and the Places Series of which this is the third. Celebrating what Pelikan calls the "most famous square in the world". This is a 600-size
pen, 5 1/4" long, capped. We have all ranges of nib sizes available, EF to
OBB. | |

The more we look at these colors the more we realize there is a subtlety in the
small areas, especially at the margins where the colors mix. The word Piccadilly originates from the word "picadil", a type of wide and elaborate ruffled collar with deeply scalloped edges that was popular in the 17th century. | |
| If we try, we can see the resemblance in the folds of a picadil to the shapes in the colors of this Piccadilly Circus fountain pen. The clip and bands are made using rhodium, white metal plating. |
