| This is the newest color available in the standard M600 series, all blue with silver trim. This pen, as well as each of the 600 Series pictured below is 5 1/4" long, capped. It comes with an M600 14K two-tone nib unit standard and we can do any modification you would like to the points. In stock we have every width from an Extra Fine (EF) to a Double Broad Oblique (OBB). Notice that the cap on this Pelikan Souverän (and on the other colors) is semi-transparent. If you look closely at this photo, you can see through to the screw threads that holds the cap onto the barrel. To see the great care that is used in making these pens, observe the precision with which the cap bands are attached to the cap lip. This is one of the work horse pens of the Pelikan line.

Pat.... I put the medium left oblique nib in a green M600 Souverän with Private Reserve Sherwood Forest ink that I purchased in Philadelphia last fall. I was taking my daughter to school and found myself without a fountain pen and wanting to write with one. I learned from that experience never to travel without a fountain pen! The combination of Sherwood Forest ink and the left oblique nib are stunning. My writing isn't professional quality by any stretch of the imagination, but I definitely like how it looks when writing with the crisper left oblique nib. I am still practicing with getting a good, comfortable feel for the nib and having a lot of fun doing it. | With a regular M600 barrel,
any color (see above), and a vermeil (gold over sterling silver)
cap, this pen has been out of production for several years. We
have managed to obtain a limited number of these New Old Stock
(NOS) items. The traditional Black barrel with green ink window
seems to be the most popular color with the vermeil cap. We can
provide the pen with a 14K two-tone nib unit (contemporary imprint;
nib #6 on our Pelikan
Interchangeable Nibs page) in any tip size/style, or an 18K
two-tone (traditional imprint, nib
#4, or current imprint, nib
