This is the newest addition to the M300 line and it's a dazzler! It changes color from amber to gold and it changes reflectivity from transparent to iridescent, depending on the angle it is held. The same petite size as the other 300s, at approximately 4 3/8" long, this pen is perfect in most DayTimers. It is available with the full range of nibs from EF to OBB. The entire M300 series nib is higher in quality than the M200, M250 or M400 because the M300s are made with tight fitting stainless steel ferrules.

(Ed: we received this as a note, written with the subject pen/customization): "Dear Pat / I think you were wondering whether this small M320 would suit me. It's wonderful! How John managed to make this BB into such a smooth italic is very, very impressive. And the nib looks lovely. It is the most beautiful pen I possess, and altho' it is perhaps more transparent than I thought, the shadow produced behind the amber gives reassurance about the ink supply.
I now have a small rack of Mottishaw pens: the 800 italic and a M600 needlepoint of the sort John is renowned for, that I bought from him at the 2004 LA Pen Show. All of them striped Pelikan souveräns. This tiny amber-like jewel is quite different - and it's persuaded me to go to this brightly colored ink (Ed: Pelikan Brilliant Brown) after a lifetime of variations on blue.
