Pelikan M1005 Demonstrator
Special Edition Fountain Pen
Back in 1929, when Pelikan first patented the differential piston mechanism, no-one could have foreseen that the technique would be such a runaway success. And now, Pelikan has introduced a special edition pen that shows off this mechanism as never before.

The completely translucent barrel is created by a painstaking process that ensures that no color particles enter the production process. Rhodium trim highlights the heft and shape of this exceptional writing instrument.

Clear demonstrator fountain pens show everything, the amount of ink left, the color of the ink and even the tiny bubbles of air that flow back into the cylinder as the ink is used.

The nib of the M1005 Demonstrator is crafted of rhodium-plated 18-carat gold. The clip and the rings are coordinated to match with palladium plating. Each fountain pen is shipped in an attractive gift box.

This unusual fountain pen is handmade in Germany and is now available in limited quantities only. We have a very small number in stock and available for immediate shipment.
The M1005 Demonstrator is now only available with a rhodium-plated Extra-Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad nib units. It can also use any standard two-tone M1000 nib unit - see our Pelikan nibs page for pricing and details if you wish to purchase an extra nib unit for this pen or one that is not offered here.
