The white tiger is the first in the series of four auspicious heavenly beasts in Chinese mythology as well as the first in Pelikans series of these four pens. the other three are the dragon, phoenix and the strange snake and tortoise like creature named Xuan Wu. |

| The white tiger represents the west in the four cardinal directions and is associated with the metal. |

| The cap, gripping section and blind cap are made of semi-transparent and pearlescent white resin. |
| The barrel of the pen is overlaid with a bronze sleeve. The white tiger is surrounded by a traditional cloud motif. |

This series is based on the body of the M800 pen and includes a fine M800 nib unit. This unit is interchangeable with the full range of M800 nibs. |
