# O-1008 is a Faber Castell 884,
dark green stripe, piston fill fountain pen with a 14K
OBB flex nib ca. 1957. This pen is in excellent
condition with crisp imprints and only minor brassing on the clip. Originally
this pen had a fine nib (as engraved on the barrel near the model number) however
the OBB nib inside is correct for the pen and it is a great nib. This is an average
size pen at 5 1/8 inches long and weighing 15.8 grams. Our

a single-tone Fine/Medium nib. In very good condition with no cracks or major
scratches, typical brassing on the cap band and lever, and a slightly soft imprint,

is a Pilot Comet, Black with nickel plated trim and a Fine
flexible steel nib, ca. 1936. We have never had one of these in the shop
before. In fair condition, the barrel and cap show no cracks but some scuffing
and scratches, and the cap band shows plating loss; the imprint on the barrel
is soft as opposed to the one on the clip which is very crisp. The cap has been
engraved with Chinese or Japanese characters (perhaps the previous owner's name).
Measuring 5 1/2 inches long, capped, and weighing 19.5 grams, the piston filling
system has not been restored and the pen is being sold, as is, for $75.00 - SOLD | ||||

is a Diamond PP Black and Pearl fountain pen with a 14k Warranted # 8
Medium flexible nib circa 1930. The Diamond
PP is a large pen at 5-3/8 inches long capped and weighing 21 grams. This pen
is in very good condition (with only minor ambering) and comes equipped with a
new sac and pressure bar. The nib is one of those flexible
#8 Warranted that some have recognized as unlike anything on the market

a Grieshaber light blue hand painted ring
top, lever fill fountain pen with a 14K gold #2 nib circa 1929. Except for
a hardly noticeable crack in the barrel threads (which does not affect the function
of this pen) this bright little Grieshaber is in good condition. It is only 4
inches long capped and weighs only 10 grams. This pen would fit in a vest pocket,
on a chain or chatelaine. The color is not common among the hand painted pens
from that era. The abstract design was cutting edge at the end of the 1920's.

 Item #O-732 is a Pilot Pen, circa 1937, in Black and Pearl celluloid with nickel plated trim and stepped ends. At 5-3/8" long capped, and nearly 6-3/4" long with the cap posted on the back of the barrel, this is a large standard-size pen. In excellent condition with no cracks or scratches, only slight ambering on the barrel, visible in the scan above, and a crisp imprint, this is a rare pen in unusually fine condition.  Item# O-693 is an Onoto, BCHR, NPT, with a Fine flex nib circa 1920 | ||||
| 5-3/4 inches long capped, with a barrel diameter of 7/16 of an inch, this pump fill Onoto fountain pen has a wavy line chasing pattern engraved into the hard rubber. With an Onoto #3 flexible fine nib, this is a good pen for showing off a hand that can control the pressure applied to paper. The nickel plated clip shows brassing on the ball but is otherwise very good. Minor scuffing on the imprint is all that separates this pen from one in excellent condition.  Item #O-260 is a Swan 46 E.T.N. Eternal, circa 1926, in red mottled hard rubber with gold-filled trim. 5 1/2" long, capped, and a whopping 7" with the cap posted, this is a large pen with a 1/2" barrel diameter. It has no cracks or scratches but the imprint is soft and the trim shows typical significant brassing, as seen on the clip and clip ball in the scan above. The nib is a Mabie Todd & Co. New York Eternal 6 rigid Fine/Extra Fine. Our price $495.00 | ||||

#O-527 is a Mabie Todd & Co. Swan Eternal 46 in Black with GFT.
Circa 1928, this reasonably large pen, 5 1/2" long capped and a whopping
7 1/16" with the cap posted, is in very good condition with no cracks or
scratches but a partially soft imprint and considerable brassing on the lever,
as can be seen in the scan above. Brassing on the clip and cap bands is minimal
and typical. The Mabie Todd New York No. 6 nib shows some very minor scratches
but they would not affect the performance of the sweetly
semi-flexible Medium nib. | ||||

Item #O-263 is a LeBoeuf "UNBREAKABLE" (please see the imprint detail below where the word is still legible), circa 1928, in Onyx GFT. Unfortunately, the manufacturers didn't realize what more than sixty years of use and pollution would do to their materials; the barrel is typically discolored and the cap is beginning to crystallize and has developed several unrepairable cracks, visible in the scan above. Still, the pen is functional, having been fully restored, and the nib is an original LeBoeuf 14k Broad. Our Price: $225.00 |
