OMAS fountain pens are arguably, the most beautiful fountain pens made today.
I have used an Arco Celluloid for about four years and am still fully enamored with it.  It is a sculptor's dream. Closely resembling the Wahl Eversharp Doric of the early 1930's, this pen is made of celluloid plastic unlike any other. The roller ball clip and twelve sided design give it a great look without being pretentious. Every time I look at the standard OMAS, especially the black Paragon HT and the Arco, I know that I am seeing a design classic.

Design History
Based on the design of the Eversharp Doric of the early 1930's, this twelve sided celluloid pen has perfect balance. The rollerball pocket clip and the twelve sided shape can be seen on the 1931 or earlier Wahl-Eversharp pens. The Greek key band can be seen on the Wahl-Eversharp pen advertised on June 1, 1929. The rollerball clip was inherited from Boston Safety Pen Company when Wahl bought that company around 1920. To view the Omas archive, click here.

We do not put prices on our web site for new OMAS pens.
This is a global company policy. It is unlikely that you will find prices for OMAS pens on the internet and in North America. Legitimate OMAS dealers have been asked by the company to have customers call for prices.

Why buy your OMAS pens from Classic Fountain Pens?
We stand behind these writing instruments.  Who else can make modifications to the fountain pen nibs?  If you are not satisfied, further alterations can be made.  (I have a writer friend who likes extra fine points.  Yes, these are the most difficult to make just right. He was not satisfied with his OMAS until I had worked on it, making ever so minor adjustments to the nib.)  We also know that different customers like different kinds of points.  One person will want a pen that is more flexible, someone else will want their pen extra dry and extra fine. (A somewhat scratchy combination no matter where it is made).  Others will want a juicy broad left-hand oblique in combination with a very flexible point.  This combination produces an interesting dynamic of line width shaped by hand pressure and line direction.  One way or another we can satisfy your custom writing needs.

After a long search, one of our customers informed us that the Lamy 215 erasers fit the Celluloid Collection pencils. We hope this will help a few of you with stubby erasers!
