| When OMAS decided to make a maroon colored pen they pulled out all the stops. The color is deep and rich, and the two trim finishes take the pen in very different directions. Maroon sits at the crossroads between warm and cool colors; it contains some parts of blue and some of red. The rose gold trim seen just below is warm and inviting resonating with warm side of this color. The solid 18K gold nib is rose gold plated to match. | ||

| This is a large pen with considerable heft, most of which is in the metal gripping section. This gives the pen great balance and a substantial feel. | ||
