OMAS Paragon Black Resin
Fountain Pens

The faceted Arte Italiana Paragon Black Resin is available in both gold trim and also in Hi-tech rhodium trim. Made with the same attention to styling and detail as the more expensive celluloid versions, these pens are a terrific introduction to the Paragon line - and with a generous 2.8 ml ink capacity, these pens make the most of Omas's celebrated piston-filler system.

The length, capped, is 5 15/16." and the weight is 48 grams. The rhodium plated sterling silver section is where most of the weight of this pen is carried, and it has good balance in the hand. For the Paragon with gold trim, see below.

A metal ring adorns the top of the cap and is similar in width to the band near the blind cap on the barrel.

The roller has an axle running through the clip and supporting the wheel.

The band is partly faceted and partly round where the laser engraved "OMAS" is on the front and "The Paragon Italy" is on the back.
Possibly the most dramatic aspect of this pen is the writing end. The two-tone 18k nib is fitted into a twelve sided section flange.

OMAS Paragon Black Resin with gold trim

The words "The Paragon Italy" are on a rounded part of the faceted band.
Where the nib of the HT pen is rhodium around the outside and gold in the inner design, the gold pen's nib is exactly the opposite.

OMAS has made a one piece barrel, reducing the possibility of leaks.
This is a big pen with a beautiful nib. It writes easily using its own weight.
The generous presentation box includes a bottle of black ink, a polishing cloth and an owners manual with warranty.
