This is the mid-sized (5 3/8" capped)
OMAS twelve sided piston filled pen in dark "Venice" blue. It is comfortable
for both men and women to use. Note the same quality of workmanship here as in
the full sized pen. | ||

Greek Key design with a narrow band above and below was first seen on the 1928
Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal fountain pen and later on the 12 sided Eversharp Doric
pen. It is now accepted as an OMAS design as it has been used extensively by them.
Some fountain pen designs last the better part of a century and this is one of

Pat, The Omas Milord Venetian Blue arrived this afternoon, and it is already one of my favorite pens. As I expected, it has a subdued classic beauty, its faceted sides set off nicely by the Greek motif silver bands. But without a doubt the best part of this pen is its nib. The lines and reverse chevrons on the nib accentuate its slim silhouette, and even better than how it looks is how it writes! This is what makes owning different brand fountain pens so much fun--there seem to be so many different ways that a pen can write well. I like the slight toothiness of Pelikans, the frictionless feel of the Sailors, and what many describe as the buttery smoothness of the Omas tips.
