Omas FAO 50th Anniversary LE Fountain Pen
Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations was 50 years old in 1995. The organization would work to raise levels of nutrition and standards of living. The new agency would improve the efficiency of food production and distribution and better the condition of rural populations. Part of the proceeds from the sales of these were donated to theF.A.O. for their efforts and research. Omas collaborated with renowned sculptor Gio Pomodoro to create a tribute to the organization and its humanitarian efforts.
