The only solid color Bologna in the collection, the Blue Black is the color of dusk at nightfall. There is a very subtle shimmer of blue-grey that comes through from deep in the resin. It is as delicate and thin as cirrus clouds in the night sky (see the close-up at the bottom of this page).

The silver section and dark resin body compliment each other. Slightly lighter and smaller than the other pens in the Bologna collection, this pen weighs 29.2 grams and is 5 1/3" long capped (the Blue Royal, Autunno and Burkina measure 5 5/8" long capped). Unlike the Blue Royale, Autunno, and Burkina, the resin on this fountain pen continues down the barrel through the threads. This small extension gives the barrel added length.

Notice the simple tapers of both the cap and barrel. Although the clip may appear black in our images, it is actually silver. Also notice the fit and finish of this pen. Once again OMAS excels at elegant, unencumbered design.
