Hi
Pat,
The Autunno arrived yesterday while I was out of the office, so it was
waiting for me this morning. All I can say at this point is 'WOW!". That
celluloid is just wonderful in a dark, conservative way. A very elegant pen and
a pleasure to hold. It also looks great paired with my Bronze Arco stub. So far
I've only written a paragraph... and I think I can say that John has nailed it
for me! The changes in my profile and John's usual superb craftsmanship have made
this cursive italic my instant favorite of the five (!) Omas pens you have done
for me. Thank you so
much for the superb service and invaluable advice. I'll send you a sample of my
handwriting with this pen after I have a chance to write a bit more with it...
By the way, Noodler's Zhivago is a great looking ink in the Autunno, it matches
the celluloid colors well.

(ED:
then, as a written note received on 7/10/06): Dear Pat and John, Thank you both
for this wonderful Ogiva Autunno with the cursive italic nib. This is my new benchmark.
Not only is the pen a visual beauty but this nib writes perfectly for me. The
current profile that you are using for me is great. Many, many thanks! Best regards,
Kent
P.S. Waterman Florida Blue on Clairefontaine Triumphe paper. Note: this
pen also writes very well on poorer paper.
Pat
-- I got the wonderful Autunno today -- it is spectacular! The depth of color,
offset by the gold accents, is quite beautiful, and it writes like a dream. Interesting
that the medium point does not seem much broader than the fine point in my Paragon
-- it is a smooth writer and the line width works quite well for my handwriting
style. I'm so glad you let me talk myself into it. After this, getting the Togi
nib for my Sailor seems absolutely gluttonous -- but I guess I can live with gluttony
if it means I get to write with pens like these.
Once again, thank you for
your kind attention to detail and excellent service. I am so lucky to have found
you. Mike (2/21/05)
