Namiki Emperor Setsugekka Fountain Pen
Namiki Emperor Setsugekka Fountain Pen

Setsugekka is a traditional Japanese phrase expressing the beauty of nature in different seasons, such as snow in winter, moon in autumn, and flowers in spring.

The essence of these scenes is captured here in elegant detail. These traditional designs are layered and overlapping, with flowers on top of the winter snowflakes. Notice how the silver dust tapers off in the gripping section.

This motif is a reminder of the passage of time, from season to season. Stylized flowers overlap snowflakes on fields of silver and gold dust. These repeated motifs arranged around the barrel and cap are lively, engaging, and are punctuated by silver jewels, elevated above the surface.

Of course a Limited Edition Namiki wouldn't be complete without their large size 18k gold nib.

This pen is limited to only 99 pieces worldwide. The United States received a small portion of these. These small number editions do not remain available for long.
