The use of bamboo for everything from roof thatching to writing material to weaponry has a long tradition in Asian culture - see the Sailor Susutake for a contemporary use of this material. Using the notches and tapers of the bamboo plant as an inspiration, the Namiki Bamboo Rhodium realizes this shape in a sleek brushed metal body.

This is one of the the largest pens we offer, with a barrel diameter of 5/8" and a length of almost six inches when capped. The fit and finish is of the highest quality, and the nib is extremely precise. The subtle contrast of the brushed finish body with the slightly shinier clip makes this pen a sleek study in reflections. Note the attention to detail in the tapered pocket clip and beveled ends.

The quality of the feed helps make this one of the best cartridge-converter systems available. The pump converter holds more ink than any other on the market today, so you won't run out of ink quickly - even with a broad point.

This pen is no longer in production - Pilot-Namiki has made a small number of the last remaining stock in Broad only available to us. This 14K nib is ideal for regrinds to stub, oblique, or cursive italic, and is also highly suitable for the customization for added flex.

Elegant and sturdy, this fountain pen is an contemporary classic of quality design.
