device for using bottled ink in a cartridge-capable fountain pen.
With Nakaya, however, even these simple objects can be made into
unique works of art...
Platinum Converter - see box front and
back at right. The basic Nakaya converter. A sturdy and large
converter produced to Nakaya's exacting standards.
There are two converter options
made just for your Nakaya Fountain Pen.
Pictured at the far left is a standard Nakaya
converter. The cylinder is glass, with gold plated barrel.

If something more uniquely Japanese may
be to your liking, pictured at the near left and above is
the playful Nakaya Goldfish converter. For an extreme close
up, see the image below and left.
Intricately maki-e painted, these Goldfish
Converters use the same base as the standard converter. They
fit not only Nakaya pens, but also Platinum fountain pens.
This is another finely-crafted item characteristic of Nakaya's
skill and aesthetic.
