This pen is 3/4" smaller than the full size Decapod with the same ten facets. It tucks easily into a bag or pocket. What it lacks in length, it makes up in style. Who says that size matters. In this case small is beautiful.

The rhodium clip ($8) can be installed on any of the Nakaya pens as well. Each Mini Decapod is hand cut from solid hard rubber, then lacquered with multiple layers contrasting colored natural resins. Because the Decapod pens have a four-thread start on the cap and the barrel, the facets will only line up with two of the four starts. The Mini comes with the full range of fabulous Nakata nibs in single tone, two-tone or special plated finishes. It accepts both cartridges and the provided converter so that it can be filled from the ink bottle of your choice. The Maki-e painted converters are available for an additional $21.
