Mini Decapod Fountain Pens
or as Nakaya called them Piccolo size Decapod

This pen is 3/4" smaller than the full size Decapod with the same ten facets. It tucks easily into a bag or pocket. What it lacks in length, it makes up in style. Who says that size matters. In this case small is beautiful.
Currently available only is three colors: the "Kuro-tamenuri" or Black-Red; the "Aka-tamenuri" or Dark Reddish Red; the "Heki-tamenuri" a Brown-Green it comes with or without a pocket clip at no additional charge. The rhodium clip ($8) can be installed on any of the Nakaya pens as well. Each Mini Decapod is hand cut from solid hard rubber, then lacquered with multiple layers contrasting colored natural resins. Because the Decapod pens have a four-thread start on the cap and the barrel, the facets will only line up with two of the four starts. The Mini comes with the full range of fabulous Nakata nibs in single tone, two-tone or special plated finishes. It accepts both cartridges and the provided converter so that it can be filled from the ink bottle of your choice.

Sensible and elegant packaging have been a hallmark of Nakaya. All Nakaya pens come packaged in handcrafted finery, as painstakingly constructed as the pens they protect. The heavy decorative rice paper outer cover, a simple solid softwood shipping box and a "pen Kimono", make a lovely presentation for each Nakaya fountain pen.
