Nakaya Long Cigar Ishi-me Kan-shitsu Heki-Tamenuri
The beauty of the Long Cigar is its simple elegance. We find that posting the cap on the back of the barrel is unnecessary with a pen of this length, and the balance feels just right in the hand.
The long gripping section, also coated in the stone-finish (Ishi-me Kan-shitsu) has a sensuous feel between the fingers. This Long model, the "Cigar", without clip, reveals the form of the pen without encumbrance. We suggest a Pen Pillow with all "Cigar" models to keep them exactly where you want them on your desk.
The stone finish on this pen shows a big difference in color between the amoeba like high spots and the deeper lacquer color in between. This highly controlled surface is masterfully applied to the pen.

We provide a complimentary standard Nakaya converter, used to fill the pen with ink, with each purchase. The painted "goldfish" design is available for an additional $21.

The solid gold 14K nib is imprinted with "Nakata," the family name of the manufacturer.

Each of these nibs is suitable for our customization to extra flexible (an additional $65 charge). The medium, broad and extra broad tip can be customized into a cursive italic, stub or oblique point (an additional $55 for these customizations). Notice the two-tone Music nib installed on this particular model. It adds $125. to the price of this pen.
