Nakaya Desk Pen Kuro-roiro
The black lacquer Nakaya Kuro-roiro desk pen is created from hard rubber (Ebonite) which is then coated many times with urushi natural resin until the surface is smooth and true.
Merging classic style with the modern, this Nakaya Deskpen is one of the best examples yet of this company's ability to combine elegant form with exceptional functionality. This pen makes a striking statement when placed in their matching holder.
Nakaya pens can be filled with bottled fountain pen ink using the provided converter and can also use Platinum brand ink cartridges. Hand-painted Maki-e converters are also available.
When the Nakaya Deskpen in Kuro-roiro is in uncapped position, it can be displayed in a matching deskpen stand, which is sold separately. Together the pair creates an elegant set that looks striking on any desk at home or work.
Decorative rice paper, a simple solid softwood shipping box decorated with Japanese Kanji script, and a fabric pen "kimono" are all included with this pen, making it a lovely presentation item. Sensible and elegant packaging has long been a hallmark of the Nakaya brand.
