Decapod Fountain Pen
Black (Solid)
|
Black refers to the color of
this pen. The Decapod is the shape. This name means ten feet
or ten facets. "Cigar" means without clip. |
 |
"Writer" means with
clip. Shown here is the Decapod Writer (With Clip) fountain
pen in Black (Solid). |
 |
The facets of this fountain
pen follow from end to end in a long smooth curve. It is a shape
that can be described by pure geometry except that it is subtely
more complex. In the end it is the eye that this shape most
satisfies. |
 |
The ten sided shape has another
function. Because it is not round in cross section it is not
likely to roll off a desk. The yellow pencil evolved from a
cylinger shape to be a faceted. The Decapod gives facets an
entire new meaning. At 5 7/8" capped and weighing 18.5
grams dry this pen is a pleaseure to hold. |
