Now discontinued by Montegrappa, the classic style Emblema is a favorite of many. We have just a very small number of these pens still available in Charcoal.
The Eblema is made of celluloid and is fashioned with the typical Montegrappa octagonal shape and the sterling silver details.
The natural celluloid comes in charcoal grey, blue, or red, but we have only the Charcoal remaining. This stormy grey finish is flecked with pearlescent swirls of lighter grey and white and complements the sterling silver trim.
These cartridge/converter pens come equiped with a converter for filling from an ink bottle.
When the Emblema is capped, a unique band of sterling silver is still revealed. This band is engraved with the Montegrappa name in elegant cursive.
A celluloid ring surrounds the 1912 silver disk on the top of the cap.
Notice the Greek key design imprinted onto the nib.
These nibs are firm, offering a consistent line width under a range of finger pressure.
Each Montegrappa Emblema Charcoal fountain pen comes in a leatherette presentation box with soft inner liner and a second drawer for instructions, documentation, and a silver polishing cloth. It also contains a sample of Montegrappa international size cartridges.
With its sterling silver trim, this pen is an exceptional value, especially at our price.
Unless requested otherwise, each pen or nib you purchase from us will be carefully examined, tested, and optimized for your personal writing characteristics before it ships. See our nib set-up and optimization page for more details.
