For those who can never get enough cats, here
is a Limited Edition fountain pen from Regina Martini. Manufactured
by Sailor in the traditional maki-e technique with their 21K exceptionally
smooth-writing nib, there were only 30 pieces available worldwide.
This edition is now sold out, however we were able to get
one into the shop through trade. We feel fortunate to be able
to carry that last one (that we know of) being sold, anywhere.
The fountain pen we have is in mint condition.

| Two stylized Siamese cats inhabit
the cap while another sinuously occupies the barrel. Fine maki-e
is exhibited in the three felines' grace and presence as well
as the scroll work enhanced with flakes of gold (bottom detail
below). Each pen is created by a single artisan who signs the
work. |

The one we have in stock is number 24/30. It may be the last of these we will ever see. Because these pen have been out of circulation this is a true find. | |

| The Martini Cats is the larger size Sailor pen at 5 3/8" long, capped, the same as their 1911 Series and Koi Maki-e. This pen currently comes with a Zoom nib, but we can provide it with your choice of nibs. Retail Price: $999.00 |

It is beautiful, and writes so smoothly for such a fine nib! I
have it all inked up and ready to go, although I am finding it
hard to put it to utilitarian work. I am going to have to find
