Martini Cap-less Fountain Pen Limited Edition
This twisted nine faceted cap-less fountain pen is the fifth Martini Limited Edition pen. We have never seen another pen that uses this complex nine-sided geometry. For this reason predicting how many sides this pen has, on first glance, is difficult. It has been produced in a very limited edition of 30 pieces.
We currently have # 6 of this edition of 30.
Reminiscent of the twisted shape of the Sailor Gaudi Limited Edition, the high-shine of the Stipula sterling silver creates the illusion that the pen is bent. The pen is completely straight, however.
Note that the colorful reflections are an artifact of our photo process.

Using the same result as the Vanishing Point, the barrel is twisted to eject the full size nib from behind "sliding doors" at the base of the gripping section. These "doors" create a sealed house which prevents the ink, in the nib, from drying - thus serving the function of a traditional cap.

There is nothing awkward about this pen when the nib is retracted. Martini has taken special care to give the impression of a cap with the long section and raised band dividing the section and the barrel.

The Martini logo is engraved at the end of the barrel. The photograph above only shows two, of the nine, facets. The others are in shadow.

This is a view of the sliding door almost half closed in front of the tipping of the nib. When closed, it entirely covers the over the upper space. Again the red is an artifact of our photo process

The pen measures approx. 5 1/4" retracted, and approx. 6 1/4" extracted. At a weight of 91 grams this pen is a handful.

This pen uses standard Pelikan cartridges or fills form a bottle with a converter.

The pen is available in the 18k rhodium plated Martini nib in the following sizes: Fine, Fine Flex, Medium, Medium Fine, Broad and 1.3mm Stub.

The signature Martini logo is engraved on all nibs.
