Martini Blue Sky L.E.
Produced in a very limited series of 100 world wide, we are one of only a few dealers
to offer this pen. This particular one is #100/100, which has been SOLD. It is one of the first of the piston filler semi-transparent pens and it is manufactured here in the US by Bexley Pen Co. of Ohio. A fairly standard size pen, it measures 5 1/4", capped and a full 6 3/4" with the cap posted. At a 1/2" diameter, the barrel has a good heft.
Regina Martini has been collecting blue pens for many years, so it is only fitting that she should make this addition to the lineage. The transparent pale blue is surrounded by "clouds" with silver linings.
In general, we favor the piston filling pens over the cartridge / converter models because they hold more ink and have a more consistent ink delivery.

The clip and trim on this pen are solid 6 carat gold, so they will never "brass" through the way plated trim does.

Made by Bock, the nib is platinum plated over solid 18k gold and is the same one used on the Martini Spider pen. It is available in Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.3mm Stub and two new styles: Fine Flexible (FF), and Medium Flexible (MF).

Retail Price: $699.00
Price $560.00
(We thought we could not get any more of these.)
It comes with a dark blue (naturally) Bexley presentation box.
"Hi Pat and John,
The Martini Blue Sky pen with flexible fine nib arrived safely and writes beautifully. The blue color is nice and mellow and the transparency makes it intriguing. As usual, John’s has the nib putting down a consistent smooth fine line. You have provided me with another high quality reliable pen that is fun to look at and a pleasure to write with. Thanks again for your friendly and skillful service and for making available unique pens that you tune to individual needs. Hope you are enjoying a pleasant summer.
Best Regards,
Dale Feist" (8/11/05)
