| Crafted from solid cylinders of sterling silver, inlaid mother of pearl and inlaid silver rod, this pen is a tour-de-force mix of miniature sculpture, graphics and representation. | ||

| The surfaces of the silver are hand worked into textures that establish materials and depth in the composition. Paul uses 1.5mm thick wall sterling silver to achieve depth of relief. He makes the pen barrel and cap from two different rod stocks. Notice the difference above between the sky color and the sea, both in deep blue but with the sea including pearlescence to "reflect" the moon. Paul Rossi has raised the bar for those who follow in this field of pen makers. | ||
