Classic Fountain Pens White Tea Special Edition Fountain Pen
Classic Fountain Pens is proud to announce our latest special edition pen, the White Tea. Inspired in name by a beverage that has a devoted following, the White Tea combines the formality of black-and-white with the subtlety of mother-of-pearl. We offer this pen in two sizes, the Magnum and the Standard.

Mother-of-pearl, replicated here in white marbled acrylic, has a long history of use in the manufacture of writing instruments. From the dip pens of the 19th century to the Parker faceted pens of the early 20th century and beyond, white mother-of-pearl has signified leisure, elegance, and luxury. The White Tea is an ideal pen with which to slow down and allow thoughts to steep. A steaming cup of white tea, a piece of good paper, your favorite ink, and who knows what words will flow from your hand?



Note the ultra-fine red lines, a subtle artifact of the laser engraving process, which delicately halo and highlight the inscription.



We offer the complete line of Bexley nibs in these pens, Fine, Medium, Broad, and Stub. Customizations are available to cursive or formal italic, oblique, or other modifications of your choice. As with all the pens we sell, pressure and ink flow adjustments will be offered to suit your preferences. This pen can be used with international cartridges or filled with a converter.
	Many of our customers prefer a thick gripping section. Both of the White Tea pens offer a large grip, 11.9 mm in diameter. The White Tea Magnum pen weighs 25.5 grams, and has a closed length of 5.38 inches. The Standard size pen weighs 22.5 grams and measures 5.2 inches. They both have the same posted length of about 6.7 inches. Calligraphers such as Ward Dunham have found that this pen design is particularly well-suited to use with a formal italic point; they have an easier time controlling the rotation of the nib and maintaining contact with the paper.
