Sheherazade had her one thousand and one
stories and the Bexley interpretation in this fountain pen has
a thousand and one colors. Well perhaps not exactly a thousand
and one but the various transparencies of brown and black formed
in the acrylic barrel, cap and section are enough to keep the
eye entertained. Notice the sweeping contour of this pen, from
slightly concave in the barrel to convex through the cap; the
whole package is a continuous curve.

The thick gold cap band has a repeating
groove pattern. The gold trim adds to the warmth of the pen and
does not overwhelm its transparency. The greenish hue is an affect of our photography. This pen is much richer honey color. |

Each of the 18K two-tone Bock nibs is hand set by Howard Levy. And of course, we test write each pen with ink on paper and adjust them to the specifications that you prescribe. This fountain pen measures 5 3/8 inches long and weighs 22 grams. We can offer this pen in Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub nibs.

All Sheherazade fountain pens are piston
filled. Because of these semi-transparent materials, the amount
of ink is visible in the barrel, letting you know when a refill
is in order.

The transparent grey color is actually made
up of several colors, a deep grey, a silver (which looks much
like foil flake) and the clearer and lighter grey. The effect
is one of a mystery, best revealed by rotating the pen in space
and looking through the material.

As with the tortoise with gold trim pen, we offer Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub nibs (seen to the left). The Stub is particularly well suited to our cursive italic
customization with writing widths anywhere up to 1.2 mm.(This
